Service Advisory Overview: CC-1141
- Subject: Oil Drain Valve Not Torqued To Specs (Mandatory Repair).
- Affected Models: Cub Cadet XT1 Enduro Series — XT1-LT46 KH (13AQA9TTA10, 13AQA9TTB10).
- Affected Serial/Date Range: Riders manufactured November 01, 2022 through August 23, 2023 (1K01NBXXXXX through 1H23PBXXXXX).
- Issue: The Oil Drain Valve (part number 751-10517A) was not properly torqued during production. While pipe thread sealant has prevented immediate leakage, proper torquing is required prior to winter to avoid potential leaks from extreme temperature changes.
Required Actions
- Inventoried Tractors:
- Inspect the finished goods label; if a stamped "T" is present, no further action is required.
- If no "T" is present, gain access through the LH side plastic cover and torque the valve to 135 in-lbs (11 ft-lbs) using a 15/16" crowfoot wrench and torque wrench.
- Retailed Tractors: Take precedence over inventoried units; follow steps 9 through 12 to complete the mandatory repair.
- Torquing Note: Ensure the crowfoot wrench contacts only the hex portion of the oil drain valve (not the adapter). Apply the conversion formula if the crowfoot wrench cannot be positioned at a 90-degree angle to the torque wrench handle.
