    • This is the cross section measurement of the shaft. We match this so the pulleys, PTO clutch, or other attachments fit onto the engine to transfer the torque. It is necessary to make sure this measurement is correct. 

  • Length 

    • Length is measures differently for Vertical VS Horizontal engines. 

      • Horizontal shaft engines are measured from the mounting plate of the engine (shown here)
      • Vertical shaft engines measure the length from the PTO Mouniting Face (shown here)

  • Part number 

    • If the part number matches we know the measurements are the same.
